WWF want to join hands with residents to conduct a Paper Waste Collection Drive and spread awareness on the 3R’s of Waste Management and engage residents at individual level via Intercom at Prerana Apartments. The batch of collected paper will be recycled to produce Notebooks, Paper bags, Diaries, etc.
The 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. By refusing to buy items that we don’t need, reusing items more than once and disposing the items that are no longer in use at appropriate recycling centers, we can contribute towards a healthier planet.
Date: February 16, 2020 Time: 10.30am to 7.00pm (will won't be bothering residents between 2 pm to 4 pm.)
